Today we have been busy preparing which styles to send over for an exciting Ethical Fashion show being organised by students from the London College of Fashion.
A selection of designers are coming together to put on a charity fashion show, with industry speakers, raising money for the Rehema Project.
The Rehema project works with women who are living in extremely difficult situations, teaching them textiles skills, giving them an opportunity to provide for their families
The event is being held on Wednesday 8th May 2013 at 7pm, at St Pauls in Hammersmith.
The aim of the show is to raise money for the Rehema project and awareness around the issues of ethical fashion.
The evening will begin with an ethical fashion q & a session with speakers such as:
Caroline Nodder (Editor in Chief of Drapers)
Tamsin Lejeune (Director of Ethical Fashion Forum)
Maggie Jones (Shadow Minister for culture, media and sport)
Sandy Black (Author of ‘The sustainable fashion handbook’)
Then the fashion show will include styles from Outsider alongside many other exciting brands.
Tickets are available on the door and include a free drink, with all the proceeds going to the Rehema project.
Tickets are £10 or £7 for students.
We are really excited to be a part of this event and hope to see some of you there.
