Where are your products manufactured?

We work with three factories; one in the UK, one in India and another in Macedonia (FYROM). In line with our Ethical Fashion vision, we visit each factory regularly and ensure working conditions are to a high standard. More information can be found on our Manufacture page.

Each product within the shop indicates where it is manufactured, get in touch if you have any more queries on individual items.

What is Ethical Fashion?

Ethical Fashion is an umbrella term to describe a more responsible approach to design, production, retail, and purchasing of garments. It covers a range of issues such as working conditions, exploitation, fair trade, sustainable production, the environment, and animal welfare.
All our products have an ethical and eco-driven element to them. Every business decision we make is always geared towards Ethical Fashion and fair trade practises. 

Why the Name Outsider?

OUTSIDER often refers to one identified as on the periphery of social norms, one living or working apart from mainstream society, or one observing a group from the outside.
Too often fashion brands prioritise profit and cheap labour over an ethical, eco-friendly, sustainable business model. We are proud to promote a model that is beneficial to all parties, including the planet. Learn more about our Story. 

How do I know if the item I want is in stock?

If you can add it to your basket, it’s in stock! Items that are out of stock will automatically update and the option to add them to your basket will be removed. If an item is out of stock or out of your size please inform us of your interest at our e-mail address - info@outsiderfashion.com
We can inform you when a particular item will be back in stock.

How long will my items take to be Delivered?

We always strive to get items to you as fast as possible. Most deliveries will take between 2-4 working days within the UK. International delivery times will vary. We aim to despatch orders within 24 hours of being placed.

Contact us if the item needs to reach you for a specific date and we will let you know what we can do.  We'll always try to help.

What is the cost of Delivery?

Postage in the UK & EU is free of charge for orders over £100.  Costs vary for international orders and will be indicated when you select products and add them to your basket.  International orders over £150 are sent free of charge.  

Please note - Norway & Switzerland benefit from our EU postage rates.

International orders please note - all products are sold on a Delivery Duty unpaid basis, so please be aware that recipients outside the EU may have to pay import duty or other taxes. Please check these details before placing an order.

How do I return an Item?

We want you to love your Outsider pieces, if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, please e-mail info@outsiderfashion.com and return the item in a saleable condition within 14 days for a refund or an exchange.

*Festive season orders during December can be granted an extended return period, please add a note to your order or e-mail us with your specific requirements and we will do our best to help. *

Postage and packaging costs on any returned items are not refundable unless the item is faulty.
Once agreed and notified, all returns should be sent to Outsider:


Condition of Returned Items - All labels must still be attached. There should be no signs of wear and the item must be unwashed and unmarked, clean, no hairs, smell, pet hair etc. Please place the items neatly back in their original packaging.

What if my goods are Damaged?

In the unlikely event that on delivery, goods are found to be defective then we must be notified in writing via e-mail (info@outsiderfashion.com) within 7 days of the date of delivery otherwise no liability will be accepted.
In the event that we require the return of goods then we reserve the right to specify the method of return.

The cost of returning faulty items will be refunded to the customer.

What if I have an item missing in my order?

We take a great deal of care with all our orders. In the unlikely event one of your items is missing, please contact us at - info@outsiderfashion.com

Please note sometimes items on one order may be despatched individually.
