It may sound cheesy but when we get positive feedback from a happy customer we feel we have fulfilled our mission. We create sustainable, stylish items to provide an alternative to the mainstream.
The lovely Antonia McElvenney purchased two of our Fitted Shirt dresses and kindly shared some photos from her holiday in Barcelona. It's
great to see her styling the dress in her own way. She shared a bit about herself and why she chooses to shop in a responsible way -
"I work for Change.org as their International HR Assistant. I try to shop ethically as far as possible. There are all sorts of reasons why that isn't practicable for everyone, but in my case, the money I save buying something that was made by a slave-wage worker is only going to be spent on booze and take-away coffee; so it is pretty unconscionable.
In the case of your dresses, the clothes are beautifully finished and quite timeless, so it's an added bonus that I get to support a entrepreneurial ethical business. It takes me a while to pick out something I like, so when I finally settle on a favourite piece of clothing, it hurts me a lot if it wears out too quickly. I've started buying things in two's- which is what I did with this dress.
So far, on the occasions it has been sunny enough, the dress and me have a 100% compliment per wear rate. I'm really pleased with the dresses, they are going to last for ages and are really versatile."
